Putting for Victory

Sonoran Crest always enjoys the opportunity to play golf and partner with our clients for a great cause! We were happy to participate again in this year’s 21st annual CBRE Charity Golf Tournament, benefiting the wonderful work and dedication of Phoenix Children’s Hospital in our communities.

Creating a Safety Culture

Sonoran Crest works to create an environment where hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, work boots, ear protection, properly fitting professional attire, signage, etc. are common expectations in the field. It is an unrelenting commitment to ensure that no injuries occur. The Superintendent’s role in the Safety Culture cannot be underestimated. Creating a safety culture by our team is exampled in the following areas:

If you don’t, they won’t – Lead by example; wearing ALL the proper PPE on the job site and setting and maintaining the tone of the safety requirements and expectations to adhere to.

Safety is neither magic nor luck – Safety is the result of a disciplined safety plan.

Safety is a team sport – Every member of the project team must be as dedicated as the next.

If you can imagine it, you just made it happen – All workers, regardless of position, have the right to call out safety concerns without fear of recourse.

Communicate Success – One of the most effective strategies for creating a safe work culture is to corporately celebrate the efforts during the day that mitigate risk and allowed for a safe workplace.
