Here we are, December 2016, yet another year past. At the beginning of this year, I couldn’t have imagined that we would be in December with the Cubs as World Champions and Donald Trump as our President elect. I guess it just goes to show that anything is truly possible with a little talent, a firm commitment, and a lot of hard work.
This year has been very productive at Sonoran Crest Construction, and we have so much of it to thank you for. We have accomplished many of our goals this year (including doubling our size again this year – that’s five years in a row we have doubled our size each year, something we are very proud of!). We are on our way to a very good start to 2017, with significant backlog and numerous opportunities in our pipeline. We hope you don’t think this means we already don’t have time for the projects brewing in your brain…remember that the earlier you involve Sonoran Crest in the development of your project, the more you can potentially save. We’ve also added many new team members this year, which we will continue to spotlight in our newsletter every month.
In this month’s edition, you will find some light reading about the importance of space plans that actually reflects final construction costs. This is so important for so many reasons!
Under our Project Spotlight we are highlighting four of the recent projects we have completed at the Odyssey Aquarium, which has been such a fun and unique experience for us.
Our Employee Spotlight this month is Chris Peters. Chris recently joined Sonoran Crest as a project Superintendent and has been a great contributor. Keep up the good work Chris!
Please take a moment to read about the raffle that is being held for Perla Segura’s Father. Perla is one of our trade partner’s employees. His father requires heart surgery and this raffle supports that. We would appreciate your support and any involvement is great, even just forwarding this email.
This Saturday we are hosting our employee Christmas Party at The Biltmore. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and celebrating a great year.
We greatly appreciate all the feedback we got from the first issue of our newsletter last month. Please let us know if there are any topics you would like to see included in the coming editions.
Lastly, I know that I am looking forward to spending time with loved ones over our Christmas holiday. Taking time to disconnect from the day to day and focus on what is most important is something I don’t do enough of, so I hope you all get the rest and relaxation you deserve.
I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a very Merry Christmas, see you next year!
